Displaced from Denver by big league expansion in 1993, the Zephyrs shared home field with the Privateers for four seasons. In 2002, the University changed the name to Maestri Field to honor the 29 years of service of head coach Ron Maestri, now the ebullient COO of the Zephyrs. |

Located safely west of the congestion of downtown.
Main entrance behind home plate.The days of New Orleans as the last bastion of the nickel pay phone are long gone, but at least the booths resemble baseballs. |

U.S. Highway 61 stretches behind the leftfield fence, carrying traffic east to the French Quarter and the Super Dome. The latter hosted Triple-A ball in 1977. |
